After a month training with Dan Henderson and the rest of Team Quest, Jess was clearly at the top of his game. At the opening bell of the first round Jess immediately dominated Anthony Torres with flurries of strikes, perfect counter-attacks and an excellent clinch game, always remaining in the dominant position. Jess managed to knock Anthony down to the canvas early in the first round with a four-punch combo, from there on the fight was already clear who was going to take the win as Jess got the better of every exchange and another knockdown which was the beginning of the end until finally at 4:10 of the first round the referee decided to stop the fight as Jess unleashed another flurry of strikes and uppercuts.
