Another win for PL

Cage Rage: Contenders. The main event of the evening. Jess Liaudin vs Lee Doski.

On Sunday Jess went head to head against a formidable opponent by the name of Lee Doski. The battle ensued on for 2 whole rounds with Jess being in Lee's guard for the majority of the fight.

The first round started with Jess and Lee coming to the center of the ring hoping to trade some punches, Lee rattled Jess a bit with a few jabs which made Jess react with a double leg takedown but landed inside Lee's guard. The rest of round was fought from this position. Lee attempted to strike from the bottom, but this was not enough to stop Jess from unleashing a solid game of ground and pound. Lee attempted a few good armbars from the bottom, but Jess saw them all coming and did well to avoid being submitted while still dishing out some more ground and pound.

The second round followed pretty much the same pattern. But Jess's strikes from inside Lee's guard started to take it's toll on Lee. The ground and pound from Jess opened up a cut on Lee's face and his eye was beginning to swell from the consistant strikes. Each time the fight was restarted in a standing position Jess would immediately take Lee down, put him up against the cage and continue his ground and pound.

After the second round ended, both fighters returned to their corners. After a bit of confusion the referee waved his hands and handed the win over to Jess Liaudin after Lee Doski verbally submitted due to being unable to see out of his left eye.

Jess Liaudin was awarded the win via TKO after the second round. During Jess's victory speech he show Lee Doksi alot of respect by stating that he definitely underestimated him and thought Lee was a very strong and worthy adversary.

This has now put Jess on a winning streak and we all look forward to his next fight. Another great win for Jess, and this should open up more doors for Jess's future prospects as a professional fighter.
