Training Info
In the classes you will learn how to defend yourself effectively using forms of Thai Boxing, Grappling and Wrestling. The instructor will drill you on the following aspects:
- Striking with the hands, elbows, legs and knees.
- Submission hold: such as locks and chokes
- Takedowns and takedown defense.
- Working and striking from the clinch.
- Body positioning and movement such as guard work, passing the guard and mounts.
- Escaping submission attempts.
- Striking combinations.
- Pad work drilling.
- Stamina and body conditioning excercises.
- Counter attacking, evading attacks and movement anticipation.
- Sparring kickboxing, grappling and full MMA.

Joining fee of £40 (incl: PL T-shirt and insurance)
Option 1: £50/month (direct debit)
Option 2: £40/month 1 year contract.
Option 3: £6/class
Non Members: £8 day pass
If you plan to train more than once a week it would work out better for you to get a monthly membership and have unlimited access to our gym.
Requirements
Depending on the class you attend, you will always require a mouthguard, and groin guards are heavily reccomended.
For kickboxing sessions you will require 16oz leather gloves and pullover shin pads.
For grappling sessions you will require padded grappling/MMA gloves.
Punctuality and appropriate gear is expected. No excuses!
